A Way Better Travel Charger for Your MacBook
(because the Apple brick is a beast and I’m done with it)
Look no further if you need a better MacBook charger. I did a lot of research before landing on this Anker one. I was tired of lugging around the giant MacBook charger — especially when traveling. I needed something that would actually charge my MacBook (not just keep it barely alive) but still be compact and easy to pack. My back was killing me on every work trip, and I was on a quest to get my backpack weight down when I realized that Apple brick and cord was the number one contributor (besides my laptop, which I really couldn’t get rid of).
This is the Anker 67W USB-C charger, and it’s hands-down the best MacBook travel charger I’ve used. It's small, light, and powerful enough to actually charge my laptop while I’m using it. I’ve tested it on both short and long trips, and it's held up great.
Why I picked this one:
67 watts is enough to charge a MacBook Pro or Air quickly and efficiently — it’s close to Apple’s 70W and 85W chargers, but way smaller
It’s a USB-C charger, so I can use it with my phone, tablet, Kindle, or headphones too
The foldable prongs make it easier to stash in a backpack or carry-on
It fits pretty tightly in outlets, even airplane ones — no more jiggly connections or losing power when someone bumps your seat
And yeah… it’s not a giant heat-generating brick with a six-foot cord that splays back out every time I try to roll it up
If you’re looking for a compact MacBook charger for travel, or just something lighter to carry around day-to-day, this one’s been perfect, and I am 0% surprised by the 4.8-star rating on Amazon:

Yes I use affiliate links. They cost you nothing, and I get free money from Amazon (they can afford it, don’t worry). But all of my recommendations are mine, never sponsored or bought.
